BUILDING ENERGY RATING:
A BER is similar to the energy label for a household electrical appliance like your fridge. The label has a scale of A-G. A-rated homes are the most energy efficient and will tend to have the lowest energy bills. A BER is required, subject to transitional arrangements, where construction of a new home begins.
Working with Registered Assessors we can provide your new building, dwelling, extension or refurbishment with the best energy rating. We are very interested with passive house and zero carbon emission. However, it is our clients to decide the type of rating that they are willing to achieve. We will inform you about the minimum standards for compliance with the Building Regulations. If you are willing to sell or let your existing property we can also help you with the required B.E.R. certificates.
